*A better choice would be one 4oz glass of wine for 120 calories or a light beer for 100!

3. One cracker with a piece of cheese?

a)      50 calories

b)      60 calories

c)       75 calories

*A better choice would be 1/2c raw veggies w/ 1tbs hummus for just 50 calories!

4. 1/2c mixed nuts

a)      250 calories

b)      350 calories

c)       440 calories

*To save hundreds of calories enjoy 3 whole walnuts or 7 halves for just 90 calories! 14 almonds will only cost you 100; while 47 pistachios is just 150!

 

Answers:

1. b: While one glass won't hurt you, 4oz is pretty small and it adds up fast.

2. c: Mixed drinks not only contain calories from the liquor but also from the sugary mixers. They are a bad choice all around.

3. c: I'll just say... Who eats just one?!  You have a dinner on the way; don't fill up on this!

4. c: While 1/2c may not seem like much, nuts are very calorie dense. Try to stick to sensible portions and go for the healthier choices.
