Laura Starkweather

Laura Starkweather is co-owner of Live Fit Personal Training and has been a full partner in creating the Live Fit concept and brand. She grew up as a dancer and horseback rider and has always embraced living an active and healthy lifestyle.

She has been a personal trainer for over five years with certifications from ACSM, AFPA, and is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor. She graduated from The University of Brockport with a BA in Health Science with extensive studies in nutrition.

Laura began this venture at Gold's Gym in Rochester, NY where she worked a s a personal trainer as well as a group exercise instructor. She has worked with all types of clients ranging from youth athletes to rehabbing seniors.  Having also been a figure competitor, she understands the meaning of hard work and discipline to achieve a goal. 

Laura and her husband Mike live each day the Live Fit Way and they're passionate about guiding others to do the same.
