Senior fitness programs that can help you look and feel young again

What are your fitness goals? Keeping active, chasing your grandkids around and fitting into your skinny jeans are all reasonable goals. Whether you’re new to exercise or have been working out for years, Live Fit can help you achieve your fitness goals.

“You’re as young as you feel! ” After all, age is only a perception, defined in part by your mental health and overall wellbeing. Getting older is inevitable, and while you can't control your age, you can slow the decline of aging with smart choices along the way.

The trainers at Live Fit can help you get started on your fitness journey. We are currently helping people up to nearly 90 years young live a fitter, stronger and healthier life. Our trainers can provide you with a customized exercise program and support you every step of the way until you reach your goals.

Customization: One of our trainers will meet with you to assess your goals, strengths and weaknesses. Based on factors unique to you, your trainer will create a customized workout plan.

Pulling from a mixture of weight training, cardio, stability, core, yoga, Pilates, combat and many other forms of exercise, your trainer has the tools to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Perform exercises correctly and safely: You will have your trainer’s undivided attention as they teach you the right way to perform different exercises. He or she will monitor your form, offer suggestions and be there to spot you when you need a little boost.

We can work around existing injuries: An injury can quickly derail a training program and personal motivation. Our trainers will work around any pre-existing injuries or special needs that you may have to ensure that your training program is safe and effective.

Exercising with a joint replacement: After you've completed physical therapy and are given the go-ahead to return to fitness training, our trainers will provide modifications for exercising with a joint replacement. Good news: if you’re active prior to surgery, a joint replace won’t keep you sidelined for long.

Working around common injuries: Our trainers are also very comfortable working around common chronic injuries including bad shoulders, lower backs, knees and hips as well as many others. We can help reduce chronic pain through strength training and flexibility.
